We match the OEM number to the aftermarket equivalent through the part specification — thread, gasket diameter, height, bypass pressure for a filter — rather than trusting the vehicle list copied into the listing.
Boxes printed with a vehicle manufacturer's branding are common and are counterfeits. We will not buy them: they are seized at the border and the liability is yours.
A gasket described only as "rubber" covers NBR, FKM and silicone, which fail at very different temperatures. For anything near the exhaust or the cooling system we get the material named.
Filtration efficiency and media type are what separate a filter that protects an engine from one that restricts flow. Sellers quote neither unless asked.
Timing and accessory belts are specified by profile, length and tooth count. Those three numbers are the specification; the vehicle name is not.
Many Chinese factories supply both OEM and aftermarket lines. The useful question is which line this part comes from and what it is tested to — not whether a brand is printed on it.
